Frances Gallop Attends IBA Employment and Diversity Law Conference
Frances Gallop attended the International Bar Association’s Annual Employment and Diversity Law Conference in Paris from April 3-5, 2019. The conference covered cutting edge topics of interest to employers around the globe including communications in crisis situations, artificial intelligence bias and data transparency in the workplace, and practical strategies to appropriately handle gender transition issues in the workplace.
The program ended with an excellent panel discussion on preventing and managing harassment claims in the #MeToo Era. Frances reports that Philip Berkowitz and Inge de Laat did an excellent job of moderating the discussion, and extends her kudos to the panelists who acknowledged that the legal profession has a lot of work to do in this area.
It was an incredible opportunity to learn from and be inspired by lawyers from all over the globe.
