Kennedy provides practical advice to public, broader public, and private sector employers in all areas of labour and employment law, including labour disputes and grievance arbitrations, human rights and accommodation complaints, wrongful dismissal claims, and employment standards.
Kennedy received her J.D. in 2019 from the University of Toronto. While there, she earned the Douglas K. Laidlaw scholarship for proficiency in advocacy and the Gowlings WLG Prize for Trial Advocacy. While at law school, Kennedy was active in the mooting program, competing in both the Callaghan Memorial Moot and the Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Competition. Prior to law school, Kennedy received her B.A. from the University of Waterloo, graduating with the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Legal Studies. Kennedy was called to the Bar in 2020.
