A skilled litigator, Daina has represented clients in the courts, at grievance arbitrations, and before various administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Daina provides practical and strategic advice on all workplace issues to a diverse group of clients, including private, public and broader public sector employers. She takes an active interest in understanding clients’ needs so she can provide realistic solutions for their unique workplace issues.
Daina received her J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2012, where she received the Edna Yuet-Lui Chan Memorial Award in recognition of her ingenuity, humour, enthusiasm and camaraderie. She also served as a teaching assistant for Professor Rande Kostal, a noted expert in Legal History and Torts. Prior to attending law school, Daina received a B.Sc. (Hons) in Genetics from McMaster University. She was called to the bar in 2013.
